Update Feb 19th

Stringer Reserve: despite the threat of thunderstorms and heavy rain, the build was completed – roof on and guttering attached. Looking forward to seeing the fence removed ad we can have a look inside.
Help a Mate: your opportunity to get some help on those “difficult” projects. So if you have outstanding work you need some help with contact John and the team.
Projects: Time to get those ideas before the Projects Committee for the required assessment. 
Music Appreciation: “The band” is meeting Wednesday afternoons at the Hangar.
Car Club: regular meetings being planned for 2021.
500 Card Club: Face to face sessions will be happening back at the Hangar, once the rules on gatherings permit. 
Bike Restoration Program: The logistics and timing to be defined, within COVID restrictions at the Rye Primary school. Project could be extended across our local community.

Sorrento Rotary: “Lift the Lid Walk” (Derek Ryan 0408 635 107): Sunday Feb 28th at the Point Nepean National Park. Raising money for Mental Health research. Check out the details on this flyer. Please contact Derek if you can help. Volunteers will be rewarded with a healthy sausage!!

Sorrento Festival / Art Show: (Brian Stacey 0412 458 317): Members, partners, and families are invited to participate in what Rotary and the Community Centre hope to be a fun weekend.
5th to 8th March: Arts and Craft Show: at the Sorrento Community Centre                        
Sunday 7th March: Music Festival: George St road closure. 
Monday 8th March: Dog show and Market
Monday 8th March: Car show Southern Peninsula Car Club and the Peninsula Boys, David Macfarlan Reserve beginning at 9 am.
