VMSA: Victorian Government Men’s Shed Statement
All authorised workers across Victoria will by law need to have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 15 October 2021. They will then need to be fully vaccinated by 26 November 2021.

This includes anyone who works at, or volunteers at Men’s Sheds, unless they have a medical exemption.
Men’s Sheds should keep a record of the vaccination status of their volunteers and staff. If a worker or volunteer is not vaccinated by the required date and does not have a medical exemption they may not attend the shed.

PNMSA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2021
Scheduled for Thursday 18th November

Financial members have been sent a formal notification of the AGM.
Financial Statements and various group reports have been distributed with the notice. We are asking ALL members to read through these ahead of the AGM.

Formal Committee nominations have been accepted and we have initiated another secret ballot for the Ordinary Committee member positions. The ballot paper has gone out to all financial members. We are asking all members to return the ballot paper indicating their preferences for the committee.

Roof Repairs at the Hangar:

This week was to see the completion of the replacement roof and skylights at the Hangar. The plumbers have been dodging the rain and wind and planned to have all the work done by Friday 29th.
BUT …
They have to hold work on the last skylight as an old electric cable has to be moved. Once this is done they can complete the installation and fix up some of the plasterwork.
For the present, the Shire officers have insisted we stay locked out until the work is complete.

Stringer Reserve Concept Plan:
The Shire has presented the draft concept plan for public exhibition. This is an opportunity for the local community to help guide the development of the Reserve for the whole community.
Invitation to comment
This appeared on the MormPen Facebook site, inviting the public to have their say. Please take advantage and make a statement to the Shire about what you would support in the development of the Stringer Reserve:
