“Black Tie Affair” – The Portsea Golf Club again laid on the perfect venue and dinner. Over 100 members and guests really enjoyed the dining, the wine, the music, the dancing and a bit of banter.
Thanks Rob for all your efforts in organising such a great night.

Congratulations Russell Darbyshire – our “Shedder of the Year 2021” – thank you for all that time spent both at the Hangar and the Stringer Reserve.
Music Group Recipe and Photo Book: The book has been published. Now available for purchase.
$25 each (I believe).

Car Club: Bathurst Day Sunday, December 5th at the Hangar, Sorrento. Start time: 11 am onwards. All Members are welcome to attend the day. $10 entry fee for BBQ, ( members can bring their own MEAT if not happy with sausages). There will be a raffle so bring some cash!!
Classic cars on the rear lawn only, other cars to be parked away from the Hanger. As with all events, QR code check-in please, and Covid certificate to be presented.
Luncheon Club: Hotel Sorrento event has been rebooked for Wednesday, December 1st for over 30 members who previously booked. Still room for more.
Roof Repairs at the Hangar: The work on the replacement roof has been completed and just a little touch up to be done around the skylights.
Negotiation on the Longer Lease: The attached was issued n the local paper. Does look like another move in the right direction? Hangar Lease MPNews
Stringer Reserve Concept Plan: The Shire has presented the draft concept plan for the public exhibition.

Lions Club “Letter to Father Christmas” project: We have offered to provide letterboxes (repurposed nesting boxes) at the 4 sites in Sorrento and have had a fabulous response from the kids at the Primary School, St Josephs, Sorrento Early Learning and Sorrento Pre-school.
Tired of old EWaste items around the house/garage? There’s a young lady willing to take it away and where possible recycle. She has “recruited” her Dad to collect as he’s on the road with work and “willing” to fill his car!! Lily EWaste Services
