July 2022 Update

Motor Group: The Motor Group is looking at a trip in November with overnight stays at the RACV Inverloch Resort. Reservations secured for the 2-night stopover.

BYS Sailability Yacht Restoration: The 2nd yacht has been refurbished
and successfully returned to service.

Rye Pier Benches: We have the pier timber from Parks Victoria at the Stringer Reserve.
Work has started at cleaning the boards and pulling out the best of the stack.
Now to build the 2 benches to be placed on the restored Pier.

“Help-a-Mate” Program:  Just a short note to keep you all in the loop, during this winter in general terms
the program has been put on hold for JUNE, JULY,  and AUG as a lot of guys are away.
Noting, we have a med size help for Sept, I will do a shout out for about 6-8 guys,
with details. It’s moving a small jacuzzi to the tip. Just needs lots of hands for one of our esteemed members

Crisis Housing: Progress has been stalled awaiting some decisions to come from the Shire which will drive any direction for the investigation.
The committee at Peninsula Voice has called for various forums to be held. The attached covers one scheduled for the 24th of August. – the 1st of 3 free public community forums to empower and drive solutions.
