August 2022 Update

POINT NEPEAN MEN’S SHED Quarterly financial report 30 June 2022

We have had another very successful financial year to 30 June.  Our main source of income is members’ subscriptions. In addition, profit was made on the Christmas in July and the end of shutdown Black Tie Affair functions, and the sale of a donated motor car.  We received several grants, some of which were for a specific purpose and others for shed development

Our principal expenses were rent, insurance and depreciation of the van and Stringer Road building.

Motor Group : The Motor Group is looking at a trip in November with overnight stays at the RACV Inverloch Resort.

BYS Sailability Yacht Restoration: The 2nd yacht has been refurbished and successfully returned to service.

Rye Pier Benches: We have the pier timber from Parks Victoria at the Stringer Reserve.
Work has started at cleaning the boards and pulling out the best of the stack.
Now to build the 2 benches to be placed on the restored Pier.

Football Tipping “PNMSA Comp”:  Another new name to add to the honour board with Gary McPhee edging out Maurice Langford on the last day with a “9” to both finish on 145.
Gary takes the trophy through a narrow difference in the Total Margin value.
Estelle Dunn again finished in the top 3.
Andrew Baker took out last place!

JackanAndy Op Shop, Sorrento:  The Men’s Shed has installed new shelving giving it a whole new fresh look. The management and volunteers at the shop love the new look.
